Rebecca Kane
Rebecca is the Regional Kadima Coordinator for the Metropolitan New York District.
Rebecca is an alumni of USY and when given the opportunity she was happy to come back and give to the future Kadimaniks/USYers exactly what USY had given her. She started out working Kadima Encampment as a bunk counselor, making her way to Head Counselor and eventually becoming Co-Director for Kadima Encampment. From there she became the Regional Kadima Coordinator and loves watching the Kadimaniks and USYers group up and hopes she can help and instill Judaism in the lives for future Kadimaniks/USYers. Rebecca also serves as the Youth Director for the chapter H2I (Hollis Hills Jewish Center, Hillcrest Jewish Center, and the Israel Center of Conservative Judaism [ICCJ]) in Queens.
Rebecca has a Bachelors Degree in Communications with a Minor in Political Science from CUNY College of Staten Island. She is currently back in school working on a second Bachelor’s Degree in History before going into a Masters in Secondary Education.
She still lives on Staten Island, calling it her country where she can have peace and quiet.
